                       Devotional Tattoos

Devotional and intentional tattoos have surrounded human beings since the beginning of time. Mummified bodies from different continents have been found with a myriad of designs and markings ranging from maps of terrain, astrological maps, to ancient crosses and seals.

Many different cultures have expressed their faith through sacred tattooed impressions, communicating everything from resistance to rebellion.

The Coptic Christians were a clear example of strength and resilience, in which, tattoos became a literal symbol of life or death regarding faith in the face of oppression and persecution.
Having a Coptic cross meant the difference between a whole culture and way of life remaining alive for its future generations to remember.

                                      ࿇

Our faith always has a way of showing through, despite of our circumstances and the shadow of public appearance. When it comes down to it, history has shown us time and again that human expressiveness and lifestyles withstand the sands of time, gifting us windows to the past. It isn’t hard to connect the dots of how tattoos became such an integrated part of our DNA.

                                      𓌴

When we think of faith, we also think of protection. The two go hand in hand, when proclaiming and defending our faith, setting that bond and intention seems to energetically make its revolution right back to us and in turn, like a belief boomerang, engulf us in its protection and energetic intention.

We reap what we sow, be that good or bad.
By basic laws of nature, what we put out inevitably comes back to us.
We are nothing if not, 24/7, strong conduits.

Make the most out of your powerful intentions as you can -so when it inevitably comes back- your protection and overall well-being are of utmost importance to survive.

Santa Muerte tattoos have been around for decades, many starting as the most subtle symbols and icons as acts of rebellion or to let other Devotees know you were part of the faith, community and culture.

                                Mandas

Another way Devotees pay their spiritual respect and homage is through mandas. Mandas are different from just getting her image or name tattooed, they come with a set intention or knowingness of paying tribute back to her.

The manda itself is ENTIRELY a connection strictly between the person and Santa, my tools are just that, a way to make your vision and intention come to reality.

The energetic workings of the ritual are blind to most eyes, but is something I’ve had years to experience, feel, and understand.

I don’t make any promises regarding your faith and what you’ll give or gain, again, that is fully your own.
                                   ,

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, I would love to help your ideas become reality.
